Vision Statement 
As the premier representation of all types of theatre in Illinois, Illinois Theatre Association wants to have 500 active members with annual revenue of $528,000. We aim for each Division to have a signature event that contributes to theatre and theatre professionals in the state, and we want to reach as many communities in Illinois as possible to create a diverse community for people devoted to theatre. 
Mission Statement:

The Illinois Theatre Association is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to advocate for the important values that theatre at all levels in the state of Illinois bring to individuals as we work to expand hearts and minds through work both on stage and off.  

Our work includes the important mission to inspire, engage, challenge, nurture, educate and empower artists and audiences in order to enhance the cultural landscape of Illinois making our state a more conscious and compassionate community.Ultimately, we look to celebrate the essential power of the theatre to illuminate our common humanity.

ITA aims to make theatre accessible to all. Please let us know if you need special accommodations to participate in any of our programs.
