Orphaned and left to fend for themselves, teenager MacArthur Douglas andhis older brother Boyd live in a camper. But MacArthur won't let his stark circumstances stop him from asking his classmate and crush, Denise Drummer, to homecoming. The biggest challenge to winning her heart might just be the impending alien invasion that his brother Boyd swears is coming.
Set in 1990 in Walnut, Illinois, The Camper is a new full-length musical and small-town Midwest gothic story of making it through high school, reckoning with romance and family, and fighting to survive the end of the world.
