Position Summary: This individual provides expertise, and manages & coordinates technical elements of stage productions & general auditorium usage throughout the year. This individual provides leadership & management of the performing arts spaces and is responsible for working with student crew members, internal staff, external renters, and overall safety & upkeep of the facility. This position requires periodic flexibility of work hours based on building needs.

Job Requirements: Bachelors in a related field preferred. -Advanced degrees/Certifications in a related field preferred. -Five years of related experience preferred. A complete listing of the job requirements can be found on the job posting.

Description: Towle Theater is seeking a Guest Director (preferably female identifying with dance/movement experience) for its upcoming productions of POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive. Performance Dates listed below. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater 5205 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN.

Show Description: When a White House PR nightmare spins into a legit sh*tshow, seven brilliant and beleaguered women must risk life, liberty, and the pursuit of sanity to keep the commander-in-chief out of trouble. The show is an irreverent look at sex, politics and the women in charge of the man in charge. Who knew that a global crisis is always just a four-letter word away.

Time Commitment: Rehearsals will begin March 22, 2025 (max 3-5 rehearsals per week except tech week).

Performance Dates:  May 2-4, 9-11. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater in Hammond, IN unless other arrangements are made.
